Round Lake Beach Police Shop With A Cop 2010
Hello everyone,
The holidays are just around the corner. The Round Lake Beach Police Department will once again be conducting our Shop With a Cop program on December 6th. This program benefits needy children by providing them an opportunity to play games, make crafts, enjoy a meal and shop for Christmas presents with a police officer.
This program is totally funded by donations and each child is given $100.00 to shop with. All donated funds go directly to the children. There is no “overhead” or administrative fees as everyone involved in the program is a volunteer. By the communities generosity we were able to serve 53 children last year and we hope to be able to increase that number this year.
If you are inclined to donate please have your check made out to the Village of Round Lake Beach and mail it to the police department at 1947 N. Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach, 60073. Your charitable donation is tax deductible and will help make this program a success and spread a lot of Christmas cheer.
